2009 Germanfest Opening
The Fort Wayne Mannerchor kicks off the Germanfest opening ceremony. The German and American National Anthems are then sung. Mark Critchfield, Germanfest President, then welcomes everyone to Germanfest. Geoff Paddock, Executive Director of the Headwaters Park Alliance, then makes some welcoming comments.

Second part of the Germanfest Opening Ceremony. Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry speaks. Mark Critchfield then introduces the Germanfest officers and committee members. Mayor Henry then taps the keg and the Germanfest is declared open. The Fort Wayne Mannerchor then sings "Ein Bier" and "Prost".
