I had the opportunity to ask Indiana Governor Daniels what the average citizen could do to help keep an eye on government. Right before this, I had introduced myself as a blogger and we chatted a few seconds about the media. I was extremely nervous talking with him. I had asked one of his handlers if I could ask the Governor a quick question wanting to ask about something else and was given a terse make it quick as they were running behind schedule. There had been a lot of talk about the media performing the watchdog role where government is concerned and I felt that he didnt really know Fort Wayne that well in that one respect anyway.
