During the Three Rivers Festival, Old Fort Wayne was open for Camp Allen Muster, 1861-1865. During this time, acceptance of a donation of a reproduction 19th century cannon was made.

On July 18, 2009, Old Fort Wayne accepted the donation of a reproduction 19th century cannon from the Lincoln Financial Foundation. The cannon used to grace the lobby of the Lincoln Museum in downtown Fort Wayne. Parks and Recreation Director Al Moll talks about the donation. Ken Sorg, President of Historic Fort Wayne which is operating the Fort, talks about the donation and upcoming events.

One of the Old Fort Wayne volunteers talks about the procedure for firing a cannon. This clip is the firing of the 6 pounder "Short Six" cannon.

This was the second, third and fourth firings of a reproduction 19th century cannon which used to grace the entrance to the Lincoln Museum in dowtown Fort Wayne, Indiana. The cannon was donated to Old Fort Wayne by Lincoln Financial Group after the Museums closure earlier this year.
