Fort Wayne Police Department Detectives are presently investigating gas station Armed Robberies that occurred on February 1, 2013 at 4:46 AM and 6:48 AM respectively. At approximately 4:46 am officers responded to the area of 900 Coliseum Blvd. (BP gas station) in regards to an unknown problem. Upon arrival officers ascertained that an Armed Robbery occurred. The gas station clerk advised officers that a black male approached him while he was cleaning and put a gun to his head. The suspect told the clerk that this is a robbery and demanded money. The suspects took the cash register and the clerk’s wallet and fled in an unknown direction of travel.

Roughly two hours later another call for service regarding an armed robbery occurred at 6520 Lima Rd. (Marathon gas station).
