On October 20, 2011, Fort Wayne Republican Mayoral candidate Paula Hughes held a news conference at C.L. Schust to talk about her proposal to cut the Mayor's salary if elected.

Participating were Hughes, C.L. Schust owner Bob Schenkel and Congressman Marlin Stutzman (R-IN 3rd).
