DeBrand Chocolate Tours
Stop in during the hours of 10 AM to 6 PM (7/14-19) and tour the facility.Tours are $5/person with a rebate of $5 off a $10 purchase. Admission is $5, but you receive a $5 rebate off a $10 purchase after the tour. The tours occur daily from July 14th to the 19th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. You may call (260) 969-8335 or visit their tours page on their website. A map and directions may be found here. The DeBrand Chocolates Corporate Headquarters and Shoppe is located at 10105 Auburn Park Drive on the North side of Fort Wayne. These tours are extremely popular, so an early arrival is suggested. Photo from the DeBrand Chocolate website.
Gordon Food Service Waiter/Waitress Competition
Three-member teams will compete to see which is the fastest to set a table after navigating various obstacles. In each heat teams will encounter increasing levels of difficulty, with tables being set for breakfast and advancing through a seven course meal. As they work through the obstacles, team members will carry trays of water, dishes and utensils. The contest takes place in Freimann Square with free admission for spectators. The contest starts at Noon with the finals immediately following.
